Yamaha SVC-100 Silent Electric Cello, full size 4/4, in excellent condition and ready to play.
The SVC-100 is the original Yamaha Silent Cello and is no longer in production, so clean examples are getting harder to track down. This one has been well looked after and comes set up and ready to go.
It had new Helicore strings and a new bridge fitted in 2019, both properly cut and set up by Bridgewood & Neitzert, and both have seen very little playing time since. So you're getting a fresh setup without the usual cost or wait. The tone is great: warm and natural, whether you're monitoring through headphones or running it into an amp.
The electronics are all here and working. Piezo pickup with built-in reverb (hall and room ambience), an aux input for playing along to tracks, a headphone output for near-silent practice, and a line out for amp, PA or direct recording, plus separate volume controls. No feedback issues when amplified, which is the whole point of a silent cello.
It suits all skill levels, from beginners wanting a quiet way to practise at home through to gigging and studio players who need a compact, headphone-friendly instrument.
