Here's a fantastic Japanese-built Gretsch G6128T Duo Jet from 2003, made at the renowned Terada factory. If you've ever spent time with one of these Professional Series Gretsches, you'll know just how well they're put together. Lightweight, resonant and incredibly comfortable to play, they deliver everything from sparkling cleans and rockabilly twang to rich, punchy classic rock tones.

Finished in gloss black with white binding, this Duo Jet features a chambered mahogany body, ebony fingerboard, dual Filter'Tron humbuckers and a Bigsby vibrato. It also benefits from a Vibramate String Spoiler, making restringing the Bigsby much quicker and easier without any permanent modifications.

The traditional Gretsch control layout gives you plenty of tonal flexibility, with individual pickup volume controls, a master volume, three-way pickup selector and the classic Gretsch tone switch.

Weighing just 8lb 11.5oz, it's a comfortable guitar to play whether you're standing or sitting, and has that lively acoustic resonance that makes these Japanese Duo Jets so highly regarded.

Condition

Good overall condition with honest signs of use throughout. The guitar has clearly been played and enjoyed, with a fair amount of light surface swirling and playwear across the gloss finish that's visible under direct lighting. Thankfully there are no notable dings, chips or unsightly damage, and it still presents very well overall. The neck, fingerboard and frets are all in excellent condition, while the hardware shows a light natural patina consistent with age.

The guitar has been fully checked over and professionally set up in our workshop and is ready to play.
