Excellent clone of the classic and versatile Telefunken C12 microphone. Warm Audio's version comes in a stylish hard case which includes the mic, a dedicated wooden box for the mic, the power unit, the shockmount, mains lead (without UK adapter), 7-pin XLR cable for switching polar positions, and documentation.

I bought this in as-new condition a couple of months ago and have only used it twice to do some test recordings. In a shootout against 8 other LDCs it won hands-down, but I still felt I needed something with a darker sound. The CX12 is airy with a firm low-end - perfect for most styles and instruments, but more on the contemporary end of things in terms of character. I have ended up with a U67 clone instead and though I'm tempted to keep the CX12, I think it should go to someone who'll use it more than I will.

It's in perfect working order and as-new cosmetic condition. Not even a slight scrape on the mic body. The only 2 imperfections I noticed are a tiny dent on the edge of the wooden mic box and a tiny mark on the edge of the outer case - both pictured. Both barely noticeable and could have come from the factory.
