From my research, based on the color etc this should be a 1983 made in Japan Focus. They only made the focus 3000d in Japan. This thing plays like an absolute dream. Neck is straight and the frets have tons of life left in them.
I took pictures of the nicks and dings I could see. It's a 43 year old instrument so there is some natural relic to it. But nothing isn't beautiful about its playability or functionality. The cosmetic issues exist but the guitar is a bad ass instrument.
At some point it looks like somebody modded the pickup guard. There's a round drilled out area. I left it instead of replacing the pickguard. It feels like part of its 43 year old story!
It's reasonably light at 7.7lb. The pickups appear to be original and sound super good. Everything works as intended and the Floyd rose still sets up nicely.
The case is super nice as well. Very clean. Nice snug fit made for the guitar.
