Rupert Neve Designs Portico 5015 — the legendary Neve mic preamp and compressor in one half-rack unit. Same transformer-coupled preamp circuit as the 5012, same compressor as the 5043, fully analog signal path throughout.

Preamp: 72dB of gain, swept high-pass filter (20-250Hz), 48V phantom, mute, phase invert, 8-segment LED metering, and the famous “Silk” circuit for extra harmonic warmth.

Compressor: fully variable threshold, ratio, attack, release, and makeup gain, switchable feed-forward/feedback VCA detection, 8-point LED reduction meter, stereo link capable for pairing two units.

Sounds exactly as you’d expect from a Neve design — rich low end, musical compression, equally at home on vocals or instruments. A true workhorse for tracking and mixing.
