Cornell Studio 20 amplifier head. Handwired by Denis Cornell , made to order for myself in March 2026. Custom ordered one-off finish in black alligator tolex. Incredible sounding amp .
Plexi channel plus Vox AC channel - one side of the amp is a Plexi circuit based on a PA20/ 2061 from the late 60s (it's basically the "hot" channel of the famous Cornell Plexi 18/20) and the other channel is based on an AC Top Boost circuit from the early 60s.
So you get authentic 60s tones at useable volumes but without the vintage price tags and reliability issues of the originals, handbuilt and handwired by a british amp legend .
Switchable rectifier - valve or solid state.
Global Edge/ Cut control.
Mid boost on the Vox channel.
2 x EL84 power tubes and 3 x ECC83 preamp tubes.
Cost over £2100 - bargain at £1500.
