The whole world knows of the pre eminence of the NAMM show - for 100 years it has been the global ‘shop window’ of the world’s finest and most exclusive guitar releases. Art of Guitar were invited as a ‘Fender Global VIP dealer’ to the 2025 event and invited to participate in the auction of what can only be described as, the best of the best. With each Masterbuilder able to present 2 or maximum 3 guitars for the event - then only the very best guitars they’ve built get to be displayed. Armed with this knowledge and , as you’ll see, the most enviable and incredible specifications for each of the amazing instruments AOG were able to acquire a small and exclusive selection of guitars - none of them released before, many never to be released again. We limited our focus to who we view as the most exciting Masterbuilders at this movement in time and managed to secure a limited number of what we absolutely believe to be amongst the finest Masterbuild and Team Build guitars we’ve ever seen.

Of ALL the guitars we were able to secure this was the most incredible, individual and - being a Prestige selection - collectible and desirable. ‘Prestige Collection’ Guitars are THE FINEST guitars for the whole of 2025 that each Masterbuilder has decided to present to really represent their craft and abilities as a Master Builder. Already boasting a phenomenal reputation of crafting collectible desirable and incredible guitars, the rising star of Andy Hicks went into hyper space with this build. With only the slightest hint of relic in sight to give a slightly played feel and groove, Andy instead decided to focus on the incredible quality grade Black Limba wood with micro thin nitro lacquer finish to really make the wood quality stand out , And then - well he really went to town with the spec and this is certainly not your everyday selection but as premium as it gets! With is slightly longer ‘sub-sonic’ scale , roasted maple Quartersawn neck, custom engraved neck plate and - the icing on the cake - 3 special Firebird Sub Sonic pickups this is a guitar for the ages and we’ve been bombarded with requests since the moment it was posted. Well, with store delivery a matter of only days away, we are now ready to take pre orders full orders on the absolutely Beauty and the Beast of a guitar.
