Selmer Mark VI Tenor – Serial 86XXX – Original Lacquer – Fresh Overhaul
Up for sale is a superb Selmer Paris Mark VI Tenor Saxophone, serial 86XXX, from the early 1960s—widely considered one of the most desirable periods of Mark VI production.
This is a clean, original example featuring original lacquer in very fine condition, something increasingly difficult to find on these horns today.
The saxophone has had only one previous owner and remains completely original throughout.
In June 2026, it received a full professional overhaul by one of Sweden’s top technicians. The horn now plays at a high professional level with excellent response, tuning, and consistency from top to bottom.
