Selmer Mark VII Alto Saxophone – SN N296152 (1979)

I consider this a 2‑owner horn. I purchased it from Fleming Music in Houston; they acquired it directly from the U.S. Air Force Band of the West, where it was originally bought and used by the Air Force Band.

Overall, it’s in good playing condition and performs top to bottom as it should. Pads are in solid playing shape. There is evidence of past physical damage, but everything was repaired well and has held up without issue.

The low D♯ keyguard is missing. On Mark VIIs this guard is very low‑profile, and my assumption is that the USAF removed it intentionally — possibly because it was catching on uniforms. It doesn’t affect playability.

I’ve been playing this Mark VII Alto for the last six months, and it’s in proper, reliable playing condition.

You’ll receive the Mark VII Alto, original neck, and a soft gig bag.

Please ask for more details or pictures anytime and thank you for looking at my Selmer Alto!
