Yamaha NS10M Studio Monitor Matched Pair

The Yamaha NS10M needs no introduction. For decades these speakers sat on the meterbridge of virtually every major recording console in the world, from Abbey Road to Electric Lady. Engineers trusted them because they told the truth. If your mix sounded good on NS10s, it sounded good everywhere.

This is a matched pair, both units sharing close serial numbers, which matters when restoring them because driver matching and cabinet consistency directly affect stereo imaging and accuracy.

Both woofers have cone damage and will need replacement before these can be used as monitors. The good news is that the tweeters are completely undamaged, the tweeter grilles are present and in good condition, and the cabinets are solid with no cracks or splits. Surface scuffs and marks are present, consistent with a life in a working studio environment. Everything structural is sound.

Replacement woofers are readily available from Bold North Audio, Avantone Pro and other suppliers, typically costing between £150 and £185 per driver. With fresh woofers fitted you have a fully restored, matched pair of genuine NS10Ms that would cost considerably more to buy in working condition.
