2010 Fender American Standard Telecaster - 2-Colour Sunburst - Ash Body

A very clean 2010 Fender American Standard Telecaster in classic 2-colour sunburst.

This is from the 2008-2012 American Standard range, with an ash body, maple neck and maple fingerboard. It has the comfortable modern C neck profile, rolled fingerboard edges, 22 medium-jumbo frets and a 9.5-inch radius.

It has recently had a full set-up, including action, intonation and truss rod adjustment, along with a clean-up of the scratchplate and pots. It now plays beautifully, with a comfortable action and no issues.

The original American Standard single-coil pickups sound excellent - loud, clear and very responsive to picking dynamics. The bridge pickup does the classic Telecaster KLANG exactly as it should, with plenty of bite and definition. The neck pickup gives you the warmer side of a Tele without losing clarity.

It also has the American Standard six-saddle string-through-body bridge with bent steel saddles, staggered sealed tuners and Fender’s no-load tone control.

Condition is excellent for its age. There is one very small dint on the back, which I have photographed, but otherwise it is exceptionally clean.

A properly sorted American-made Telecaster that is ready to use straight away.
