The Ibanez BTB700DX is an elite, long-scale 4-string electric bass originally introduced in 2010 as a limited production model for European and Japanese markets. Known for its boutique feel and extended 35-inch scale, it provides excellent string tension and a rich, articulate tone.

Key Features & Specs

* Body: Double-cutaway body with narrow, curving horns and Ash wings. Often found in distinct finishes like Burgundy Wine Flat (BWF).

* Neck: 5-piece Maple/Bubinga neck-through construction for massive sustain and tuning stability.

* Fingerboard: Rosewood with pearl/abalone dot inlays and 24 medium frets (plus a zero fret).

* Pickups: Dual EMG 40DC active humbuckers for a deep, modern, and punchy sound.

* Electronics: Vari-mid III 3-band EQ with a sweepable mid-frequency control, master volume, and pickup balancer.

* Hardware: MR-2 bridge (with 19mm string spacing) and a locking Neutrik stereo output jack. 

Because it was a limited run, the BTB700DX is a very rare find today.

Bass has minor chip in the headstock from previous owner, light playing marks next to the neck pickup, no splits or cracks, and a fantastic playing and sounding bass.
