The one-piece lightweight mahogany body combined with the hand-selected, highly figured 'vintage correct carve' maple top ensures exceptional resonance and sustain, making this guitar an absolute tone monster. The '59 Rounded Neck Profile has been tweaked to match Joe Bonamassa’s own vintage '59 Burst, making it one of the most accurate-feeling reissues Gibson has ever made. The rosewood fingerboard is rich and dark, just as you’d expect on a premium Custom Shop model.

The original Burstbucker #3 and Custombucker pickups are spec'd to match the original Skinnerburst's dynamic PAF tones, with warm, airy cleans, smooth bluesy breakup, and searing rock lead tones when pushed. The neck pickup is thick and vocal, perfect for soulful leads and warm chord work, while the bridge pickup has all the bite and attack you'd expect from a real vintage Burst. Thanks to the hand-wired electronics and Bumblebee caps, the tone and volume controls are highly responsive, letting you dial in anything from crystal-clear cleans to full-bodied, vintage overdrive just by rolling off the knobs.

This is as close as you’ll get to owning Joe Bonamassa’s real Skinnerburst, and it’s one of the most accurate and collectible vintage reissues Gibson has ever made. It comes complete with its original case and paperwork and is likely to only go up in value in future years.
