Flame-Hardened Hickory

These sticks are made from American hickory that has been treated with a patented FireGrain flame process. 

This tempering method hardens the wood fibres naturally, which extends the lifespan of the stick and reduces chipping without introducing synthetic coatings or affecting vibration. 

With a diameter of .551 inches (14mm) and a length of 16 inches (406.4mm), the 5A profile offers a balanced weight that accommodates a wide variety of musical genres and playing styles.

Oval Wood Tip & Balanced Pair Matching

The front end is shaped into a classic oval wood tip, delivering a warm, full-bodied acoustic tone that works consistently on both drumheads and cymbals. 

To prevent variation between purchases, Promark utilizes its proprietary ProMatch sorting system. 

This process measures and matches the sticks electronically so that the overall weight and pitch are uniform from stick to stick and across every single pair.
