Selling my Folktek Alter Y in excellent condition. This is an incredibly flexible and creative experimental effects unit that works equally well as a standalone pedal, line-level processor, or within Eurorack/modular setups.

One of the standout features is the ability to interact directly with the clocking of the chip itself, allowing everything from beautiful ambient delays and reverbs through to unstable degraded textures, granular-style artefacts, pitch shifting, clock noise and genuinely esoteric sound design territory.

The CV control opens up huge expressive possibilities, especially when paired with touch controllers, modular systems or ambient performance setups. Unlike many boutique experimental pedals, the Alter Y can also cover more bread-and-butter atmospheric duties surprisingly well — lush ambience, degraded echoes, lo-fi textures and evolving spatial effects.
