Fender American Elite Telecaster - modified
A used US Telecaster with rosewood fretboard and weight reduction. The guitar has been gigged with frequently with plenty of scratches and dents on the body, though nothing that breaches the original paint job. The playability of this guitar is fantastic and the somewhat infamous wiring issues associated with the Elite and Deluxe series have all been corrected. The original hard-case is NOT provided.
Changes made:
- Original noiseless pickups have been removed and replaced with Alcino pickups from a 50s Classic Vibe tele
- Removed the "in-series" pickup control and volume pot switch - the guitar has been completely rewired with the traditional 3-way option
- Spare pickguard provided - unique to the Elite series with a notch for the truss rod that is located at the bottom of the neck
