Up for sale is an exceptional PRS S2 Vela in the incredibly rare factory Egyptian Gold Metallic finish. Handcrafted in the USA at PRS’s Stevensville, Maryland facility, this stunning instrument was assembled on 12 April 2016 (Serial: S2019271).
The metallic gold flake finish is a total showstopper against the black scratchplace. Pictures genuinely don’t capture how the gold catches the light - it gives off a massive vintage premium look that stands completely apart from the standard cream and black models.
Condition & Playability: The guitar is in mint condition. The mahogany body, neck, and nickel hardware are all flawlessly clean with no dings, scratches, or play wear. The frets have 100% life left, the neck is straight, and it has just been professionally detailed and set up with fresh strings. It plays like an absolute dream with low, effortless action.
Tone & Specs: The Vela is one of PRS's most distinctive and widely praised offset designs. It beautifully bridges the gap between the snap/twang of a vintage Telecaster and the punch of a Les Paul Special, while carving out its own indie-rock character entirely.
