This is a modified bass, originally purchased from Southside Music in Glasgow a couple of years ago where it was kept as a family heirloom.

I made it fretless, it has an amazingly rich and deep sound akin to an upright :) This required removing the bridge pickup, filling in the fingerboard and lowering the actual bridge system as can be seen in the photos.

The only issue with it is electronics, as I simply grounded the pickup to the bridge; this produces a little noise but nothing a quick trip to a guitar shop/ solder can’t fix.

Overall, a supremely lovely vintage instrument that I wouldn’t get rid of otherwise, but it it simply doesn’t get played enough and is in need of a loving home:)

Comes with a sturdy TGI gig bag, strap and stand. Please message with any questions/offers! Collection in London preferred.
