This 2025 Martin D-18 represents the latest evolution of the legendary mahogany dreadnought. Part of Martin’s refreshed Standard Series, this model now features Golden Era (GE) scalloped bracing (previously reserved for higher-tier models) which allows the solid Sitka spruce top to resonate more freely. The result is a punchy tone with the classic "dry" woody character that has made the D-18 a studio staple for nearly a century.
Updates for the 2025 model year also include a reimagined neck profile and a thinner ebony fingerboard, significantly improving comfort and playability across the 25.4” scale. Finished in a gloss aging toner for a vintage aesthetic, the guitar is equipped with nickel open-gear tuners and high-quality ebony appointments. Also includes its original Martin hardshell case.
