This version is minus the secondary distortion circuit - because version 1 took over a day to build!
So - this has 1 distortion circuit per transformer set - and is nearly half the price - but you still get 80 per cent of the original unit. Bargain!

Two stereo / dual mono sets of carefully chosen audio transformers to enhance and beautify your music and audio. 
Set two are the warmer of the two, and even at lower saturation settings impart a beautiful glueing of the soundstage - audio just sounds nicer to the ear, more finished and much more 3d. The more you push into them (we use Logic’s I/O utility) the more the transients get rounded off and the more settled the mix becomes - plus it all sounds natural - no nasty compression artifacts to mess or muddy things up - just natural dynamics doing their analog thing. 
A bit like running your music through a nice mixing desk - but without the cost, the maintenance or the spatial loss.
You can of course push hard into the transformers for creative sound design work - these guys will go into Freak mode of you lead them down disto alley - and this is not safe plugin distortion guys - this is analog Warpout Stortion!

Most 70’s and 80’s producers drove hard into mixing desks to get power into their music, but you don’t need to do that - because each set has a passive switcheable distortion circuit wired into the transformers! Oh yeah. You can dial in the Perfect amount from gentle low end crushing to hallucinogenic 3d UniverseSplosion (check the electronic version video) - the distortion brings something interesting and creative to the table - and lets your music breathe. I built a similar circuit for an electronic artist (set one) - and everyone that bought That thing say it’s the best bus device they have. Just a touch on the mixbus or at mastering stage brings light and life to the audio proceedings.This unit is completely passive btw - no nasty power supplies or batteries muddying up the audio path - the lights get their power from your music!I used the version 1 rack plate - so the Sweetbus stickers cover up the unused dist 2 l.e.d. holes. These units are hand made on my kitchen table so may have some scratches / scuffs. Just sayin.Set one are punchier than set 2 and saturate in a very lovely way - plus they just sound different. These guys are better for pushing into InfernoStortion, but at lower saturation settings offer a very beautiful “space” to sit audio in. We’ve been using set 2 on the drum and bass bus - and using set 1 for general mixbus duties - but hey …. there Are no rules.
