A stunning Fender Jazz Bass in Black in good condition. Fully loaded Fender Made in Japan JB62-75US Vintage Premium non export Jazz Bass Guitar with a 3 glass black body, made in 1999 with a brand new (NOS) Fender Road Worn 60’s Jazz Bass neck (cost £379) with Fender 60’s reverse wind nickel tuners and string tree, as the original neck had an unrepairable twisted neck. The body is the US version “Vintage Premium” of the Fender Japan PB62 reissue which has the Alder body, Jazz Bass Vintage USA Pickups, Pre-CBS Reverse Wind Tuners, Spiral Vintage Bridge, so if you’re reading this, you know how fantastic these basses are. It was made at the FujiGen Gakki Plant (the first factory for Fender Japan) Fender Japan Alder body (Pickups/Bridge/control plate/vintage black knobs/tortoiseshell pickguard. I’ve upgraded the brass grounding strip to a wider Fender one found on the original 1962 Jazz basses. I’ve also upgraded the wiring and pots to cloth wiring, .47 dime cap and CTS pots. Neck is straight and truss rod in perfect working order. All setup, fretboard conditioned with MusicNomad F-One fretboard oil, restrung with new strings and ready to go, this is an absolute stunning bass! Modifications available, see below for options.
