The TX81Z is a rackmount version of the DX11 synth. It’s a close cousin to the DX7, with four operators rather than the 6 of the DX7, and has 128 factory patches, 32 user memories and 8-note polyphony. It scores over the DX7 in that Function Memory is stored per-patch, rather than globally, allowing complex setups to be stored more easily

The TX81Z is compatible with most DX editing packages and that’s your quickest & easiest route into editing & keeping a library of DX FM sounds

Condition

In excellent condition, almost unmarked. One of the pull-out data sheets under the synth is missing (see pic 3). This is a 110 Volt model so will need a transformer for use in the UK / EU
