MOOG PRODIGY 1979/84

Just had £385.00 spent on this Moog Prodigy 336BX making sure this historic ground breaking synthesizer to ensure it is electronically at its best and working as it should.

The metal chassis are in great condition couple of tiny marks (see oscillator 2 pot). All white control decals clear and bright.

The wooden chassis are in great condition what you can see in the pictures are only scuffs to the varnish with no damage to the wood so easily refinished if you wish.

Serial Number 11913

Production Era: The Prodigy was manufactured from 1979 to 1984.

Version: Because the serial number is above 4610, this unit is a later version.

Features: It likely includes factory-installed CV/Gate (Control Voltage/S-Trig) jacks on the back panel, allowing it to interface with other analog gear.

Model Designation: It is likely a model 336A (US domestic) or 336BX (export).

Approximately 11,000 units were produced in total.

In the late ‘70s and early ‘80s, the Moog Prodigy was one of the most popular analog monophonic synthesizers on the market. And over the last four decades, its allure has hardly faded. With two VCOs (one with sawtooth, triangle, and square waves; the other a pulse waveform with sawtooth, triangle, and square), a Voltage Controlled Filter, and a Voltage Controlled Amplifier with a three-stage (ADR) envelope, the Prodigy can do everything from velvety flutes to more aggressive electronic sounds.
