Up for sale is a legendary golden-era Ibanez guitar. Crafted at the famous FujiGen Gakki plant in 1981 as an affordable rival to the Gibson Les Paul, this Ibanez AR100 delivers massive sustain and a warm, punchy tone that rivalled the best American-made guitars of its decade. The guitar has barely been used in the last 20 years, so I've finally decided to sell it. Prior to that I never gigged with it; I only ever used it in the safer environments of the practce room or studio so it has been well looked after. It was my favourite guitar to record with, jumbo frets and fast neck make it easy to play and the sound was always great, whether playing clean or with lots of distortion or effects - and the sustain is the best I've ever experienced (and I've played lots of good guitars over the years).

Condition & Playability

• Neck & Frets: The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and there is no pitting on the frets.
• Electronics: All pots, switches, and pickups are tested and working perfectly
• Cosmetics: Shows honest vintage wear including a few dings on the back of the body and neck. The guitar has been well looked after and never required any structural repairs
• Weight: This guitar weighs approx. 4.5kg and the solid body creates incredible natural sustain
