Up for sale is this vintage 1975 Gibson L6-S Deluxe electric guitar. A nice example of the second generation of the L6-S model, this one goes to show why these are still undervalued in the vintage market...

This instrument is all original and in nice condition for its age. It does show wear, including an area on the back of the body and neck where the original finish has worn through (pictured), some wear and pitting to the original hardware, and just some general scuffs and scratches that you would expect from an instrument of this age. The original truss rod cover is present, but does have some small cracks at the screw holes.

Our tech has just gone over this one by cleaning it up, polishing the frets, oiling the fretboard, installing a fresh set of strings, and giving it a set up. It plays nicely with comfortable, low action all the way up the neck. The original frets show wear and divoting and it's clear that the instrument was lovingly played over the years but the frets still retain plenty of life.

The original hardshell Gibson case is included and is in very nice condition as well. All of the latches and hinges are present and functional and the exterior and interior, while both show some wear, are very well-preserved.
