For sale is a Marshall Valvestate 8100 100-watt hybrid guitar amp head – the legendary 90s beast loved by old-school death metal, thrash, and high-gain players.

This thing is a proper Valvestate 100V Model 8100. It features that classic Marshall hybrid design: valve-driven preamp (with an ECC83/12AX7 tube) for warmth and bite, paired with a solid-state power section that delivers tight, aggressive 100W of punch. It has serious crunch and overdrive channels that can go from British-style grit to full-on screaming high-gain saturation – perfect for palm-muted chugs or razor-sharp leads. The cleans are surprisingly usable too when you dial it back.

Condition notes :

• Two knobs are faulty – one is completely snapped off (the shaft is broken).
• The rest of the amp powers up and works well, but the faulty controls obviously limit full usability right now. It would make an excellent spares/repair project, or a quick and cheap fix (new pots are inexpensive and a straightforward swap on these).

Cosmetically it's a typical 90s road warrior – some scratches, scuffs but nothing structural. Overall solid chassis and still has plenty of life left once the knobs are sorted.

Comes with the original power lead. No footswitch or other extras.
