Serial 500717 places this around 1965, right in the sweet spot of Gibson-era Epiphone production.
Made in Kalamazoo alongside the SGs and ES-335s, to the same standard, at a fraction of the price.

• Body: mahogany solidbody, symmetrical double cutaway
• Finish: Cherry
• Neck: mahogany, rosewood fretboard, dot inlays
• Pickup: original single New York-style
• Controls: volume & tone
• Tailpiece: Maestro vibrola
• Scratchplate: original cream with Epiphone 'E' logo (nicely yellowed with age)
• Tuners: original Kluson-style, nickel
Condition: honest player-grade. There are a number of dings and surface scratches consistent with 60 years of life - nothing structural, no cracks, no repairs. The finish is intact and the grain of the mahogany body shows beautifully through the Cherry. Frets have life left. All hardware original and functioning.
These Kalamazoo Coronets are increasingly sought after - lightweight, punchy single-pickup tone, real American craftsmanship.
