A seriously cool and slightly under-the-radar vintage piece, this Ovation Preacher in White is a fantastic example of Ovation’s foray into solidbody electrics during the 1970s. Known primarily for their acoustic designs, Ovation brought a unique approach to the electric market – and the Preacher is one of their most distinctive offerings.

Finished in a striking white gloss, this guitar has real stage presence and a look that stands out from the usual crowd. The body features Ovation’s characteristic styling with a comfortable feel and solid construction, paired with a bolt-on neck that offers a smooth and familiar playing experience.

Condition-wise, this example is in players grade vintage condition, with age-related marks, small dings and light wear as you’d expect from a guitar of this era. There is also the corner of the headstock that has been chipped off at some point and glued back on, as well as some old repairs to the paintwork on the bottom edge(see picture). The white finish has likely mellowed slightly over time, adding to its vintage character. Fully functional and ready to play.
