Personal Thoughts:
This is a really cool Tele spec because it takes the smarter side of the late-'50s / early-'60s Custom Tele formula and makes it far more player-friendly. The obvious visual pull is the Sonic Blue finish with double binding, which always looks classy, but the spec underneath is what really makes it. The flat lam rosewood board, dark-tint AAAA flame maple neck and parchment binding give it loads of vintage appeal, but Fender have paired that with a 9.50"-16" compound radius and a comfortable 60 Style Oval “C” carve, so it should feel much easier and more forgiving than a stricter old-school reissue. The Texas Special set also makes sense here, giving it a bit more push and attitude than a more polite vintage-voiced set. Overall it is a very tasteful Custom Shop build that blends classic custom-colour Tele looks with a more modern, usable playing spec.

Condition Report:
Excellent condition. Factory Journeyman Relic finish and ageing as per original Custom Shop specification. Aside from the intentional relic treatment, it presents very cleanly overall with only light signs of handling.
