1965 Fender USA Mustang – Vintage "A" Neck

I am donwsizing my vintage collection and this is an authentic 1965 Fender Mustang in White. It’s a fantastic "player’s grade" vintage guitar with plenty of character and that classic short-scale feel.

Key Specifications:

Year: 1965 (Neck date: 1965 / Pots: Late 1964).

Neck Profile: Rare slim "A-Neck" (38.3mm nut width).

Pickups and pots: Original gray bobbins pickups with / pots STACK POLE 50th week of1964

Weight: 3.68kg – very comfortable for long sessions.

Hardware: Includes original tremolo arm and a hard case.

Condition Report:

This guitar shows honest "relic" wear:

Body & Finish: Natural scratches, dings (pen-tip size), and some discoloration consistent with age. There is a visible sticker mark and a thin scratch on the back.

Neck: The neck plate is a replacement (serial number unknown), but internal dates confirm its 1965 origin. There are paint cracks on the back of the neck, but it feels good.

Headstock: Two small holes and a broken-off screw from a tension guide thats is not, purely cosmetic.

Frets: Original frets and nut. About 50% life remaining. It plays well, though you might notice some minor "choking" on very large string bends due to vintage fret wear.

Electronics & Playability:

100% working.

The truss rod is healthy and adjustable.

The controls and output are clean with no issues.
