Here we have an ORIGINAL Wurlitzer EP200A electric piano, complete with original steel legs and sustain pedal. Made in USA (Logan factory in Ohio/1976), it runs @ 220/240Vac via a standard IEC (kettle) socket. EP has had KKGB "pro" service, and has been properly voiced and tuned. Note NEW Vintage Vibe amplifier <> this allows variable vibrato speed/or original, with a simple flip switch <> AND there is an FX loop via stereo socket underneath, so patch any FX through the internal speakers (which also feeds through "aux out" socket). Check underneath to see the aux out 1/4" socket and the headphone socket (which defeats the lid-mounted speakers when any jack is inserted). Free Orchid passive traffo kills the inherent mains hum. Free Akai phaser pedal is also included.

The iconic sound of the Wurlitzer® Electric Piano has ruled the airwaves for over half a century. The “Wurli” was made from 1954 to the early 1980s. Designed for gigging musicians, the 200A was released in 1974 and had an updated amp and speaker design over its predecessor, the model 200. The tone came from metal reeds – small blades that were struck by the hammers of a real piano action. When they wear out and drift out of tune, the reeds are tuned by adding drops of solder to the tip and filing it off until the pitch is right.

The single Internal pickup routes the sound to a self-contained amp.

Among the many artists who have famously used the original 200A are Supertramp, Elton John, Pink Floyd, Beautiful South (Perfect Ten), Roxy Music, each of the Beatles in their solo careers, and Steely Dan. Just like the 140Bs, vintage 200As are still sought after today by musicians and collectors alike. James Bay, Lewis Capaldi, Kaiser Chiefs and Abbey Road Studios all enjoy and use KKGB Wurlitzer pianos.

Sounds like? John Deacon wrote "You're my Best Friend"...and also played the Wurlitzer on the recording of it, also "Lazy Sunday Afternoon" by The Small Faces will give you an idea of how a decent EP200A should sound....."Perfect Ten" by The Beautiful South is another great example.

Attached video shows how the new V Vibe amplifier works with the EP200A. Studio engineers will be happy with the improved floor-to-noise ratio, as well. The amp will perform flawlessly for a loooong time......
