Overview
This Mexican made Stratocaster is finished in Crimson Red Transparent. From the serial number the guitar was made in 2001. Weighing in at: 7lb 9.2oz or 3.436kg. The Deluxe Super Strat was available from 1997-2004 and was the predecessor of the Deluxe Players Stratocaster that was available from 2004-2017.
Condition
The guitar itself is in very good condition for a 25 year old guitar, there are some light scratches and strumming marks on the pickguard and several light scratches and swirls on both side of the body which are hard to see unless held directly in the light. There is some minor buckle rash on the back of the guitar. The neck is in great condition with minimal playing wear to the frets of the fingerboard. The guitar has recently been set up and restrung with Rotosound Pinks 9-42s. Overall a very clean example of a Deluxe Super Strat.
Modifications
As far as we can tell the have not been any modifications made to the guitar other than the strap buttons have bee replaced with Fender Quick Release strap buttons with a matching gold finish.
