Kala KASSEBYTCE Solid Spruce Striped Ebony Tenor Ukulele w/ Cutaway & EQ

The Kala KASSEBYTCE Solid Spruce Striped Ebony Tenor Ukulele w/ Cutaway & EQ stands out because it doesn't just rely on its striking looks.

Spruce is a go-to for players who value consistency and dynamic range. It handles a heavy-handed strum just as well as it does a delicate finger-style passage. When you pair that clarity with the natural resonance of ebony, you get an instrument that feels incredibly responsive under the fingers.

The mahogany binding and herringbone rosette provide a classic, refined aesthetic that suggests a much higher price point, while the satin finish keeps the neck feeling fast and smooth rather than sticky during longer sessions.

For those who intend to take their music beyond the living room, the inclusion of the Fishman Kula preamp is a major win. It is a dependable system that translates the natural acoustic character of the spruce and ebony beautifully when plugged into an amp or PA system.

The Venetian cutaway is another thoughtful addition, offering easy access to the higher frets without forcing your hand into an awkward claw shape. Whether you are gigging or recording, this tenor is built to perform.

Since this is a standard tenor size, finding protection for it is straightforward. It is designed to fit into any Kala tenor sized bags or cases, so you won't have to go on a hunt for proprietary luggage. It arrives ready to play with Aquila Super Nylgut strings and a Graph Tech NuBone nut and saddle, ensuring that the intonation is spot on from the moment you tune up.
