This amp will need a service as the pots are crackly and one of the output knobs increases with a hum if turned up too loud.

History:


Bernie Marsden - 1964 WEM Watkins Hesseys Mersey Super 15 guitar amplifier, made in England * In 1964 Watkins were commissioned to make fifty of these amplifiers for the famous Liverpool based shop Hesseys Music Shop (see 'H' logo to the front panel). Charlie Watkins was later quoted that they ended up making much less This amp appears on page 371 of Bernie's book 'Tales of Tone and Volume'
