This Korean-made (MIK) Epiphone Casino EB 2003 comes from a private collection. It was hardly ever played and is therefore in fabulous unmarked condition.
It is very rare to find a 23 year old peerless example in this condition.
The guitar has been upgraded with 'MOJO' Nickel 'dog eared' pickups which cost £180 for the two. They are based on an a slightly underwound 50’s set, giving extra clarity especially on the neck pickup compared with the standard set.
These pickups are hand wound with 42awg wire,
48mm Neck and 50mm Bridge.
Neck 7.2K and Bridge 8K.
This guitar was produced in the reputable Peerless factory. The most highly regarded Korean factory of all. The Casino features a fully hollow laminated maple body, mahogany neck with a 24.75" scale, and 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
Chrome hardware, a trapeze tailpiece, and a Tune-o-matic bridge.
Body: Bound laminated maple, thin-line fully hollow construction.
Neck: Mahogany,with a slim '60s C-profile.
Fingerboard: Rosewood with pearloid parallelogram inlays.
Controls: 2x Volume, 2x Tone, 3-way toggle switch
Scale Length: 24.75".
Nut Width: Standard 1.68" (approx. 42.7mm).
Hardware: Chrome.
Manufacturing: Peerless factory (identified by 'R' in the serial number).
This guitar comes with a used hardcase as shown in the pictures.
