The Boss VF-1 (V-Force) is a multi-effects/processor released by BOSS (Roland) around 1999, and is highly acclaimed, especially among guitar, bass, synth, and DTM users. While no longer in production, it remains popular on the used market.

Despite being digital, it offers a clear, three-dimensional sound.

Its spatial effects (reverb/delay) and modulation effects are particularly well-received.

The guitar distortion is considered "not modern," but it remains effective for synth and effect applications.
