Very beaten up but fully functioning, great sounding 1961 Stratocaster. She’s been through the wars and at some point was refinished in black. My good friend Joseph Kaye (all round guitar aficionado, look him up) reckons it might have been originally Olympic white but it’s very hard to tell. The finish on the back is worn down to the springs, and is well worn through in other areas too. The rare red scratch plate is original as are most other components. To my knowledge, these are the non original parts -
Refinished in black
Pickups - New pickups wound with period correct wire by Joseph Kaye (sounds amazing)
Pick up switch - Newer 5 way installed
Refret - done by Joseph Kaye
The guitar sounds really special and plays very well with a great neck. Pick up in person only.
