With very rare exception, deep mouthpieces are always restrictive in the upper register and limit a player’s endurance, which is why the vast majority of the world plays on C cups or shallower. Many of us have tried playing a deep cup and fallen in love with the sound, only to revert back to something shallower to make life easier.

We’ve cracked that code, and we offer an array of deep (and very deep) cups that give you excellent intonation to the very top of your range.
Our XL cup is particularly useful for orchestral players; especially the 1XL & 2XL. This mouthpiece lets you maintain a sweet sound with a huge core, and never gets too bright when playing high or loud.

This can really help you to blend within an ensemble and avoid getting “the hand” from your conductor. It’s also great for helping you ace all the articulation qualities the repertoire demands. Most remarkably, it adds a beauty filter to your articulation.

This mouthpiece is especially good for helping intermediate players (or part-time Classical players) sound far more elegant and sophisticated.
