GOLIATH SERIES

The Ormsby Goliath is a modern, ergonomic headless guitar designed for players seeking precision, comfort, and versatility in a sleek, travel-friendly format. As part of Ormsby’s popular Goliath GTR series, this model continues the brand's legacy of innovation through its signature multiscale construction and high-performance hardware.

BODY & CONSTRUCTION
The mahogany body ensures a warm tone with a nice weight to it for all shredding needs. The body is equipped with a Flame Maple veneer making it's esthatics stand out perfectly. The instrument is gloss finished and is equipped with a satin neck. The contrast between gloss and satin improves aesthetics and playability, offering a smooth, fast neck feel while maintaining a striking body look.

NECK & FRETBOARD
Built for strength and stability, the bolt-on laminated Rock Maple neck ensures snappy response and easy maintenance. With a slim revised D shape profile measuring 19 mm at the 1st fret and 21 mm at the 17th, it’s ideal for fast, technical playing across the board. The multiscale (fanned fret) system offers optimal string tension, keeping low notes tight and defined while preserving comfortable playability for leads and chords on higher strings. Warm-sounding and visually clean, the ebony fretboard delivers a punchy, articulate response. Durable and smooth, jumbo stainless steel frets offer excellent resistance to wear and smoother bending. Luminlay-style side dots enhance visibility on dark stages.

CUSTOM HARDWARE
A proprietary design integrates Ormsby custom tuning machines directly into the bridge, allowing fine-tuned adjustment while eliminating traditional headstock weight. Locking functionality ensures tuning stability, even under aggressive playing. Stealthy, modern black or chrome hardware complements the body design and finish options. (Chrome hardware on Icy Cool & Pine Lime finishes)

ELECTRONICS AND PICKUPS
The sleek control layout provides intuitive control with tonal versatility. The guitar is equipped with Hot Rock ceramic humbuckers – designed for high output, tight low end, and aggressive attack. The De La Creme humbucker (Alnico II) in the neck offers smoother and rounder tones for clean and lead parts. This pairing balances heaviness and clarity, making the guitar suitable for progressive metal, djent, fusion, and more.
