Awesome 1970s Binson Echorec EC3 in full working condition. It doesn’t get a lot cooler than this.

First introduced in the early 1960s, the Echorec quickly became a favorite among musicians for its distinctive, warm, and dynamic sound. The Echorec was different from other tape-based delays of its time, using a rotating magnetic disc rather than traditional tape, which gave it a unique sound and longer-lasting reliability.

The EC3 model may not look as cool, but it has plenty to offer. It has great versatility in playback/feedback head selection; there are individual buttons for each head’s playback and feedback, which makes it possible to have all sorts of delay colors. The repeats are very stable due to the rotating drum and direct drive (there’s no drive belt), and it is more compact than the original iconic Echorec.

Works, sounds great, and is awesome. What more could you possibly want (want want want want….)?
