2015 Savage Audio ‘Junger 3’ combo
This was custom built for me with the aesthetics I chose, by Jeff and Russ at Savage Audio in Minneapolis USA.
Savage were extremely popular with the likes of REM, Pearl Jam, Wilco, Chris Cornell and Bob Weir.
I have owned the entire Savage Range, and this is my last remaining item from them.
This amp is circa 5w, fully handwired with premium components and is based on a little vox.
The speaker is the fantastic and highly efficient WGS ET10.
Valves are:
a NOS Mullard EF86 (fitted this year)
a NOS Reflector Russia / EL84/6P14P EB-REFLECTOR SUPER 5K (Fitted this year)
a JJ EZ81
The amp comes with a Savage branded, D2F Padded cover.
This amp sound gorgeous for home playing and recording. I just have accumulated too much gear, and need to free up space to accommodate recent and forthcoming acquisitions.
Has never left my very clean home, and we do not smoke nor have pets etc - it’s in beautiful condition.
