Synovatron CVGT1 – Eurorack ⇄ Buchla CV/Gate/Trigger Translator (8HP)

Condition: Excellent. Barely used, has been stored safely for several years. Includes original ribbon cable.

Description:
The Synovatron CVGT1 is designed to seamlessly integrate Eurorack systems with Buchla (or other banana-socketed synths such as Serge or Bugbrand). Unlike a simple format jumbler, it provides proper signal conversion circuitry for both control voltages and timing signals.

• Bidirectional CV translation with selectable scaling (1 V/Oct, 1.2 V/Oct, 2 V/Oct).
• Offset switching to match Eurorack’s bipolar ±10 V range with Buchla’s unipolar 0–10 V.
• Timing conversion: Eurorack gates/triggers/clocks to Buchla pulses, and vice versa.
• LED indicators and comparator inputs ensure reliable operation with a variety of signal shapes.
• Banana GND jack for proper system grounding between formats.

Notes:
I no longer have a Eurorack or Buchla system to test this with, but it was working when last used and has been stored in excellent condition since.
