Taking inspiration from its predecessors, the Mark Five 35 comes packed with 4x EL-84 tubes to give you a raw, authentic sound.

Shaping your tone has never been more satisfying, using Channel 1 and the Mid/Boost feature that gives you a natural graduation from juicy mid tones all the way to an enhanced overdriven gain for a broad sonic spectrum. Using the Clean and Fat settings you can open up the voice and let the amp howl. Using the Crunch setting, you let way to classic rock tones that give you scope for harmonic, dynamic, and complex layers for some exciting lead solos.

Solo Controls

The Mark Five’s Solo Controls allow each channel to have its own unique Solo footswitchable boost feature. On the 35 head, this feature can be used as an alternate Master control that runs parallel to the actual Master circuit, giving you even more sonic versatility to reach new tonal heights.

CABCLONE DI

Incorporated in the Mark Five 35 Head is a CABCLONE DI feature that offers three classic cab-simulated voicing modes. The simulations run through analogue passive signals, combining Mesa’s five decades of boutique amp experience. You can control each virtual cab with its own EQ response to suit different styles of playing whether you want more compression, or a thick gain, with the bonus of the Mid/Boost to help shape the overall tone.
