I bought this in June last year. It was to play with a friend who would use a standard Taylor 414ce, thus giving a contrast to the sound of the standard six-string acoustic. Unfortunately he moved away before we started and the guitar has never been out of my house. I doubt if I’ve played it for more than three hours in total, so it is in excellent condition. I still have the original box/packaging the guitar came in.
The Taylor website has all the information as to the woods that were used in construction, including all solid woods, back sides and top.
It’s fitted with Taylor Expression System 2 Professional Auto-Grade electronics.
It is a Baritone, thus tuned BEADF#B and has a slightly longer scale length and heavier strings.
Oh, I forgot: comes in an excellent Taylor Flight Case as standard.
