Masterworks is the ultimate drum set that allows drummers to freely customize all specifications and create their own original drum set. Each drum set is carefully handmade by skilled craftsmen, achieving the world's highest quality and making drummers' dreams come true.
The shell is extremely thick at 16 ply, and is made of a composite material of maple and birch, with bubinga laminated on the outer ply and carbon cloth laminated on the inner ply, making it an amazing hybrid specification.
It adopts the same shell structure as the Masayuki Muraishi signature model, which was released in limited quantities in 2005, and because it was a popular specification, about 10 units have been produced in the Masterworks line so far. As an upgrade, we have created a 14-inch version that is one size larger. Unlike the sharpness of the reference 20-ply snare, it has a more emphasis on sound pressure, high power & high buff, and a dramatic low tune snare sound suitable for ballads and pop sounds.
In addition, by changing the lug position from offset to parallel, we have achieved ease of tuning and deep bass that stands out across the entire range.
