Passive splitting or summing made simple.

The handy pocket-sized Saturnworks passive splitter/combiner pedal can split one mono signal into two mono signals.* Or, simply flip it over and use it to combine two signals into one.** It can also passively sum a stereo signal into a mono signal.

The Saturnworks passive summer/splitter is loaded with boutique features and components including:

  • A passive design that does not need power to function.
  • Heavy duty Neutrik 1/4" TS jacks.
  • At 3.5" x 1.5" x 1" (1590A size), the slim splitter/combiner saves precious space on your pedalboard.
  • High quality wire made in the USA.
  • Unlike simple splitter/combiners or Y-cables, which just wire the jacks together, the Saturnworks splitter/combiner uses summing resistors to minimize crosstalk -- in other words, the level of one signal affecting the level of the other.
  • Handcrafted and bench-tested in California, USA.
  • A 1-year limited warranty against parts and manufacturing defects. See saturnworkspedals.com for warranty terms and conditions.

If you would like an upgraded version of the passive summer splitter featuring a black enclosure and premium Switchcraft jacks, check out our listing for the Saturnworks black passive summer/splitter.

If you're looking to split/sum stereo signals, check out our listings for stereo summer/splitters, available with either TRS or pairs of TS jacks.

*Please note: If you’re using this pedal a splitter, it is best used with a buffered signal to prevent tone loss. If you have any Boss brand pedal (or any other pedal with a buffer) in your chain, then you should be okay. If you need a buffer, check out our listing for a Saturnworks buffer pedal.

**Passive summers work best when the signals being combined have similar impedance: instrument level + instrument level, for example. If you're trying to sum different types of signals, instrument level + line level, for example, we recommend an active summer or mixer. Check out our listings for a variety of Saturnworks active summer and mixer pedals.

Like all guitar pedals, the passive summer/splitter should not be used between an amp and cabinet/speaker.
