A U64 is a rare bird. During the 60's Neumann issued a nuvistor based version of the KM 64, with US market in mind. the idea was to make a mic with a more easily available tube in USA and that could be changed without soldering work.

This one has been ordered in 50 ohms (you had the choice of 50 or 200). It can be wired to 200 internally easily.Let me know what you prefer. 50 ohms allows to have it less hot and use it on louder sources, 200 ohms will give you more output. both can have their advantages.

sounds superb. can provide some acoustic guitare recs to showcase the mic.

Esthetically, mic's body has some scratches ( thanks to the infamous EA 21 shock mount who tended to do that to km mics especially in black finish).

Comes with original Neumann N9 power supply and all cabling.Plug and play. Now set for 240v, but you can select any voltage inside (100/117/220/240)

To have it fully insured, it will be shipped with DHL express or UPS. If seriously interested, let me know and I'll give you a real quote, depending on your location.Shipping quotes given here are only a ballpark
