This DiMarzio D Activator F Spaced Bridge Humbucker Pickup is big, bright and open sounding with surprising string to string balance, giving you the benefits of an active pickup without the need for batteries.

Using coils tuned to specific frequencies, this pickup shifts its resonant points to the fundamentals and harmonics that you want to accentuate from your guitar, resulting in supreme balance and tonal content. They respond instantly to hard or light pick attack. The sound is powerful, clean and open, with excellent harmonic overtones and very tight lows. These pickups save you all the negatives commonly associated with active pickups (the need for batteries, cold sounds, limited dynamics, running out of headroom when played hard), giving you great tonal and guitar playing benefits. It is passive with a lot of headroom and it responds quickly and accurately to changes in pick attack. A hard pick attack doesn't cause the signal to flatten out and picking more softly or rolling the volume control down lets the sound clean up naturally.

The D Activator Bridge pickup is also about 25 percent louder than their neck version. They've adjusted the volume levels on these pickups so they are balanced, that way when you switch from the neck to the bridge on a matched set, you don’t hear a drop in volume. Recommended for use in the bridge position. It features four conductor wiring for parallel humbucking and split coil modes, giving you tons of options. These pickups require controls with a minimum value of 250 kΩs. The standard all around value is 500 kΩ and their 1 MΩ tone control works best for long cable runs. This one is the F spaced string spacing version, so please check the spec photos to see what may work for your guitar.
