This is an audio level correction/balancing unit designed and built by the great Clive Kavan. There are six bi-directional channels installed in a bespoke 19" rack enclosure, so effectively the unit can handle three sets of stereo signals. Each channel features a pair of RCA phono sockets for -10db semi-pro, unbalanced I/O and a pair of Neutrik XLR connectors for +4db pro level, balanced I/O. With the smoked perspex front panel removed it is possible to adjust the input and output of each channel via a multi-turn pot. This is a fully professional piece of kit, built without compromise using the highest quality components throughout and is in very good condition. Anyone looking to connect low-level, unbalanced equipment with pro level, balanced equipment would benefit from using this unit.
I would prefer any prospective purchaser to collect in person from north Acton, but I would also be happy to deliver personally within the west London area, subject to discussion with any serious purchaser.
