For sale is my Fender super 60, made between 1988-1992 and designed by Paul Rivera. It's renowned as being designed at the end of Rivera's days of Fender, with super sparkly Fender cleans similar to blackface models. It's a rare find in the UK that doesn't turn up for sale much nowadays and like all Rivera era fender amps, the build quality and durability of this amp are excellent. Made in USA.
It's a 60 watt all valve amp with 2x 12ax7 pre-amp tubes, and 3x 6L6 power tubes. Single 12" speaker designed by Eminence with a Fender sticker slapped on. It's a two channel amp, with typical sparkling clean tone and a grittier than normal fender dirty channel. Footswitch included
The amp is in excellent condition (as seen in photos) however it is missing the “red knobs” that made these amps so recognisable. These were sadly missing when I bought the amp and were replaced with standard fender amp knobs. Obviously this has no bearing on performance of the amp. As can be seen in the photos this amp has also been fitted with a tilt mechanism which works great.
Collection only as it’s an extremely heavy amp for its size.
